History- Have played guitar since teens. No lessons so I am completely self-taught. Yes, I take all the blame.

I have played in a number of local bands over the years, in Chelmsford and Colchester, before meeting the boys of East Coast Rising six months ago. Things have gelled really quickly and we’re always guaranteed a good time when we gig.

Influences- First of all Punk! Most of which has disappeared (and rightly so!) but some of it has stood the test of time; The Jam, Buzzcocks, Siouxsie & the Banshees.

Also like classic 60’s soul- Aretha, Otis,

The Temptations, Marvin Gaye and so on.

Elvis Costello, the Beatles, Bowie, Scott Walker. Generally the only things I don’t like musically are Extreme-metal (death, thrash etc), manufactured boy/girl bands and anything from the X-Factor.
