It all started for me about 13 years ago, when I joined an after class music school, when I wanted to learn how to play the trombone. One of my mates got his hand on an electric guitar and it didn’t take long for me to see it was the way forward. I soon saved up and got myself a second hand guitar. Along with one of my classmates, we learnt a few basic chords and then formed a school rock band.

That had me hooked on music for Life!

Several years and bands later, East Coast Rising was born.

My main influence as a guitarist is a chap called Joe Satriani, but I listen to lots of different types of music new and old.

East Coast Rising covers many styles and era’s of music, therefore we are capable to entertain all ages groups.
